optyi’s debut ep emerges from the practice of absorbing moments, emotions and impressions — amplifying them in conversation with machines. across four individual cuts, the release oscillates between experimental electro and deep minimal, drawing the listener into a sonic world of abstract dance music with melancholic textures.

absorb/amplify marks the first release on the independent label unsettled, seeking to unsettle its audience in every listening situation.
