This year celebrates the tenth anniversary of Anna Wall’s label The Bricks, as well its tenth release. The label has evolved both musically and aesthetically over the years, with each release revealing a different shade of its identity.

D-UFO is based in Morelia, Mexico and created ‘Moon’ in his home studio. Road tested on the formidable soundsystem of London’s FOLD nightclub, the track unfolds sonically and emotionally, revealing a depth and magnitude that transcends the dancefloor.

Italian-born, London-based Mariiin has carved out a distinctive sound both as a DJ and a producer. ‘Another Time’ is powerful and mysterious, exploring a darker side of techno, building intrigue and tension with razor-sharp precision. It draws you deeper into Mariiin’s world of introspective, atmospheric electronics.

Jack Bags is based in Milan and has an affinity for vintage analogue sounds. ‘A Little 4 U’ taps into his love of acid, paying homage to the classic acid house of the late ’80s and working the 303 to its fullest shape-shifting potential. The track was mixed by Claudio Brioschi of Prisma Sonoro studio.

It’s an honour to invite Carl Finlow to be part of the tenth compilation, a UK electro legend with over three decades of timeless releases. He’s delivered a quintessential electro cut with typical Finlow precision, pairing meandering melodies with a mischievous bassline.

The final track comes from label founder Anna Wall, who delivers a playful piece of electro driven by an ever-evolving bassline from a Vermona synth and pads from a classic Waldorf Wave XT. It was mixed down by Thoma Bulwer to add final finesse through his analogue desk.
